Denver, Colorado — 10/1/24 — We are excited to announce that CWES has officially expanded into Tennessee, strengthening our footprint across the Southeast and bringing our stormwater compliance expertise to even more builders and developers.

Announcing a New Expansion

In July 2025, we entered the Tennessee market with one inspector in Eastern Tennessee, serving the Knoxville and Chattanooga areas. By September 2025, we had already grown into the Nashville market, a rapid expansion that reflects both the demand for our services and the trust our clients place in us.

Our decision to expand was driven by feedback from existing clients who told us there was a lack of quality resources in the region. We saw the opportunity to fill that gap and to help more builders stay compliant and protect water quality — because sustainable development shouldn’t slow down the plans you have for your project.

Building on a Track Record of Growth

This move into Tennessee follows CWES’ 2022 expansions into North and South Carolina, continuing a strategic growth plan that focuses on areas where client demand and regional needs intersect. Each step forward reflects our vision: to transform the way our industry views compliance — empowering construction professionals to build responsibly and sustainably.

Elevating Service Standards in Tennessee

We came to Tennessee to raise the bar for stormwater compliance services. Our experienced team of inspectors and compliance engineers brings the same trusted expertise we provide in other markets, including:

  • TDEC (Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation) permitting
  • Water quality monitoring
  • SWPPP (Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan) preparation
  • Twice-weekly site inspections

By offering these services with the same consistency and quality that our clients expect across the country, we’re making it easier than ever for Tennessee builders to achieve and maintain compliance.

Looking Ahead

This is just the beginning. We’re actively evaluating new opportunities for growth and have plans to expand beyond Tennessee, with more announcements to come. Our mission remains the same: to build a culture of compliance that helps bridge the gap between construction and protecting our planet.

Tennessee builders and developers can now count on the same expertise and dependable service that have made CWES a leader in stormwater compliance nationwide.
